The Downtown Development Association (DDA) alongside the University of North Dakota (UND) worked together in 2022 to beautify downtown and promote the exceptional people, places, and things that make up our thriving region through the creation of a mural. The project resulted in public artwork that will last for years and creates a landmark for those who live here and visitors alike. The Three Brushketeers, becca cruger, jamie sebby, and senta Grzadzielewski, are the three local artists who worked on this project! To recognize Midco’s generosity, a colorful and vibrant mural was brought to the town square stage in spring of 2023! Coca Cola Mural

Funded by the public arts commission, chad caya and casey opstad restored this coca cola “ghost mural” located in pillsbury park on the building urban stampede is located in. A "ghost mural" or "ghost sign" refers to a faded, often historical, painted advertisement on an exterior building wall. These signs are typically remnants of older advertisements that have become faded or obscured over time, giving them a "ghostly" appearance. They are often found on older buildings and can offer a glimpse into the past, revealing information about the building's history or the products that were once advertised there. THis mural can be best seen from pillsbury park or the rhombus guys pizza rooftop!
